Department of Health and Social Services Secretary Rita M. Landgraf has issued an update, in accordance with the requirements of Delaware Code cited above, adding Virtual Colonoscopy as an approved colorectal screening modality. Accordingly, all contracts for health insurance issued, delivered or renewed after December 1, 2009 must include coverage for Virtual Colonoscopy for colorectal cancer screening. _________________________________ Karen Weldin Stewart, CIR-ML Commissioner
