Health Premium Consumer Comparisons – Regulation 1314

Karen Weldin Stewart, CIR-ML Commissioner Delaware Department of Insurance ## DOMESTIC/FOREIGN INSURERS BULLETIN NO. 48 TO: ALL INSURERS PROVIDING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE IN DELAWARE RE: REGULATION 1314 – HEALTH PREMIUM CONSUMER COMPARISONS DATED: April 23, 2012 Insurance companies that market comprehensive health insurance including HMO, PPO, and POS in Delaware are required to complete an annual health premium rate survey, as stipulated by Regulation 1314. A document with instructions, provisions for rating and hypothetical consumer profiles to be used in the 2012 survey is now available by going to http://delawareinsurance.gov/survey/default.shtml. As outlined in Regulation 1314, the deadline for completing the health premium rate survey was May 1, 2012; however, the Department is extending this deadline to June 1, 2012. Any questions, comments or requests for clarification about this survey or the data submission process should be emailed to rate@state.de.us.us.
