Division of Public Health duty to investigate.

The Division of Public Health shall do all of the following within 60 days of receiving notification through the universal reporting system established by this chapter that a child has an elevated blood lead level: (1) Determine the residential address of the child from birth through the date of testing. (2) Make a determination as to the child’s lead-exposure site. (3) Determine the owner of the child’s lead-exposure site and obtain contact information for the owner of the lead-exposure site.
