Case No. R-737 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES July 30,1938 On June 18, 1938, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election 1 in the above-entitled proceeding. On June 27, 1938, the Board issued an Amendment to Direction of Election.2 The Direction of Election, as amended, provided that an election by secret ballot be conducted among the production and maintenance employees of Atolia Mining Company, Atolia, California, excluding clerical employees and em- ployees having the power to hire or discharge, to determine whether or not they desire to be represented by Federal Labor Union, Local 21,464, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, for the pur- poses of collective bargaining. Pursuant to the Direction of Election, as amended, an election by secret ballot was conducted on July 6, 1938, at Atolia, California, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Twenty-first Region (Los Angeles, California). Full opportunity was afforded to all parties to this investigation to participate in the conduct of the secret ballot and to make challenges. On July 11, 1938, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 1, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Intermediate Report on the secret ballot. No objections or exceptions have been filed by any of the parties.
