In the Matter of MAGNET MILLS, INC. and ANDERSON COUNTY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION Case No. IR-3829 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES August 21, 19122 On July 17, 1942, the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding,' directing an election among all production and-maintenance eili- ployees of the Magnet Mills, Inc., at its Lake City and Clinton, Ten- nessee, plants, with specified exclusions, to determine whether or not they desired to be represented by Anderson County Employees Asso- ciation for the purposes of collective bargaining. Thereafter, Ameri- can Federation of Hosiery Workers, Local Branch 125, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, herein called the C. I. 0., requested the Board for a place on the ballot. .This request was granted. Pursuant to the Direction of .Election, and in conformity with the granting of the C. 'I. O. request, an election by secret ballot was conducted on August 4, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Acting Regional Director for the Tenth Region (Atlanta, Georgia). On August 7, 1942, the Acting Regional Director, acting, pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National, Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. B., No. 83. 543 544 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Rela- tions Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations- Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Anderson County Employees Association has been designated and selected by a majority of all production and maintenance employees of Magnet Mills, Inc., at its plants in Clinton and Lake City, Tennessee, excluding supervisors, clerical employees, and employees on annual salaries, as their representative for the-pur- poses of collective bargaining,'and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Anderson County Employees Asso- ciation, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
