Case No. R-1213 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES February, 14, 1941 On January 9, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued its Decision and Direction of Election in the above=entitled proceeding.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election , an election by secret ballot was conducted on January 28, 1941 , under the direction and super- vision of the Regional Director for the Fourth Region (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). On January 30, 1941 , the Regional Director , acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended , issued and duly served upon the parties an Election-Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report were filed by any of the parties. B., No. 110. 631 632 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD IT Is HEREBY CERTIFIED that Pyrites Workers Union, Local 520 of International Union of Mine, Mill and Smelter Workers of America, affiliated with the CIO, has been designated and selected' by a major- ity of all hourly paid and piece-work, production and maintenance employees of The Pyrites Company, Incorporated, Wilmington, Dela- ware, excluding office, clerical, executive, supervisory, and labora- tory-department employees, foremen, watchmen, and truck drivers, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant tot the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Pyrites Workers Union, Local 520 of Interna- tional Union of Mine, Mill and Smelter Workers of America, affili- ated with the CIO, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
