Case No. R-2255 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES April 18, 1941 On March 7, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board, herein- called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election 1 in the above-entitled proceeding. Pursuant to the- Direction of Election,, an election by secret ballot was conducted on April 2, 1941, at Chi- cago, Illinois, under the direction and supervision of the Acting Regional Director for the Thirteenth Region (Chicago, Illinois). On April 3, 1941, the Acting Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. F. of L.), has been designated and selected by a majority of all hourly paid non-supervisory production employees of Bunte Brothers, a corpora- tion, Chicago, Illinois, including packers, wrappers, shipping and re- ceiving clerks, factory janitors, cafeteria employees, loaders, paper cutters, city store order pickers, city shipping department employees, advertising department employees,' warehouse employees, and the gardener, but excluding powerhouse employees, maintenance em- ployees, watchmen, salesmen, foremen, foreladies, assistant foremen, assistant foreladies, full-time clerical employees, truck drivers, ele- vator operators, printers, the order chaser and stock clerks in the ship- ping room, and "the garage employee, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Candy Workers Union Local 351, Bakery & Confectionery Workers' International Union of Amer- ica (A. F. of L.), is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
