Case No. R-0344 AMENDMENT TO DIRECTION OF ELECTION April 30, 1941 On April 4, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election 1 in the above-entitled proceeding. The Board has been advised by the Regional Director that the petitioner in this proceeding, United Electrical, Radio & Machine Workers of America, Local 430, C: I. Off, notified her by a letter dated April 17, 1941, that it desired to have its name withdrawn from the ballot. The request is hereby granted. The Board hereby amends the aforesaid Direction of Election by striking therefrom the words "whether they desire to be represented by United Electrical, Radio & Machine Workers of America, Local 430, C. I. 0., or by Local B-1010 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, A. F. of L. for purposes of collective bargain- ing or by neither.", and substituting therefor the words "whether or not they desire to be represented by Local B-1010 of the Interna- tional Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, A. F. of L. for purposes of collective bargaining." No objec- tions to the conduct of the balloting or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. IT, IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Local B-1010, International Brother- ' hood of Electrical Workers, A. F. of L., has been designated and selected by a majority of all employees of Radio Wire Television, Inc., New York City, in the service department, excluding super- visory, clerical and shipping employees, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that pursuant to the provi- sions of Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Local B-1010, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, A. F. of L., is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the pur- poses of collective bargaining, with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment. 31 N.
