R-2509 and R-2510 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES July 11, 1941 On May 22,1941, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Elections in the above- entitled proceeding.' Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, elec- tions by secret ballot were conducted on June 18, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Thirteenth Region (Chicago, Illinois). On June 20, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report on the ballot. No objec- tions to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. Union___________ 1, 138 Total number of ballots cast for neither_____________________ 124 By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Rela- tions Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Chicago Die Sinkers Local 100 of Inter- national Die Sinkers Conference has been designated and selected by a majority of all die sinkers and die sinkers' apprentices at the West Pullman Works of International Harvester Company, West Pullman, Illinois, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargain- ing, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Chicago Die Sinkers, Local 100 of International Die Sinkers Conference is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employ- ment, and other conditions of employment. IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Farm Equipment Workers Organizing Committee, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, has been designated and selected by a majority of all production and maintenance employees at the West Pullman Works of International Harvester Company, West Pullman, Illinois, excluding salaried em= ployees, supervisory employees on hourly rates above the rank of working group leaders, factory clerical employees, office clerical em- ployees, indentured apprentices, progressive executive students, fire and watch employees (except production and maintenance employees who act as volunteer firemen), temporary employees, die sinkers and die sinkers' apprentices, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Farm Equipment Workers Organizing Committee, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other con- ditions of employment.
