R- 784 and R-2785, respectively CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES October 29,1941 On September 5, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued its Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceed- _ing.1 Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on October 3, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Seventh Region (Detroit, Michigan). On October 6, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regula- tions-Series 2, as amended, issued an Election Report, copies of which were duly served upon the parties. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report were filed by any of the parties. Organizations, has been designated and selected' by a majority of all production and maintenance employees, toolroom and machine re- pairmen, truck drivers, and shipping-department employees of John Wood Manufacturing Company, Inc. Bennett Pumps Division, Mus- kegon Heights, Michigan, excluding executives, foremen, employees with authority to hire and discharge, clerical employees, watchmen, time-study men, engineers, and salaried employees, as their representa- tive for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Local 814, International Union, United Automobile Workers of America, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the exclu- sive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
