60 – Criteria for Determination of Successful Electronic Prescriber (Rev. 10, Issued: 07-27-12, Effective: 10-29-12, Implementation: 10-29-12) In order to qualify to earn an eRx incentive payment and/or avoid a payment adjustment for a particular program year, unless an exception applies, eligible professionals and group practices must be considered a “successful electronic prescriber.” The criteria that will be used to determine whether an eligible professional or group practice is a successful electronic prescriber differ depending on whether participation is at the individual eligible professional level or at the group practice level and may differ from one program year to another.
