70.3 - Part B Billing (Rev. 767, Issued: 12-02-05, Effective: N/A, Implementation: N/A) Following termination of its agreement, a SNF is considered to be a “nonparticipating provider.” An inpatient of such a SNF who has Part B coverage, but for whom Part A benefits have been exhausted or are otherwise not available, is entitled to payment only for those services that are covered in a nonparticipating institution. Do not bill Part A services furnished on or after the effective date of termination.
