10.4 - Contractor Record Retention (Rev. 11550; Issued: 08-12-22; Effective: 10-13-22; Implementation:10-13-22) A/B MACs and DME MACs are responsible for retaining documentation that they do not forward to the MSP Contractor following current CMS document retention guidelines, including the assignment of a document control number for their use in subsequent retrieval.
