200.1.5 – Extrapolated 935 Overpayments (Rev. 293; Issued: 09-14-17, Effective: 04-02-18, Implementation: 04-02-18) The contractor shall create one account receivable (AR) for the total amount of the extrapolated overpayment, which includes the statistical sampling of claims. Refer to Publication 100-08, Medicare Program Integrity Manual (PIM) for instructions on extrapolations.
