4636.1 - Disbursement of Approved Funds (Rev. 1, 05-21-04) The Public Health Service (PHS), Office of Resource Management, Division of Payment Management is responsible for the disbursement and tracking of Medicare and Medicaid survey and certification funds. As CO authorizes funding levels, they are entered into the automated Payment Management System for SAs to draw upon as funds are needed. Each SA interacts directly with the Division of Payment Management in the disbursement of funds.
