5078 – Pre-Survey Activities (Rev. 120, Issued: 09-19-14, Effective: 09-19-14, Implementation: 09-19-14) To assist in planning the complaint investigation, prior to going on-site the SA should review the provider’s or supplier’s prior compliance record and, as applicable, quality indicators, ESRD Outcome List and Data or supporting information received from other programs, such as the Ombudsman program or Protection and Advocacy program. This process may require additional contact with the complainant.
