4.4.2 - Corrective Action Plans (Rev. 11218; Issued: 01-27-2022; Effective: 02-28-2022; Implementation: 02-28- 2022) In monitoring an HHA’s activities, a MAC may identify misuse of NOAs that warrants immediate implementation of a Corrective Action Plan (CAP). The purpose of the CAP is to ensure adherence to CMS regulations and that an HHA is implementing processes/internal controls to improve billing practices.
