TRANSFER OF ANNUAL LEAVE.
SECTION 1. TRANSFER OF ANNUAL LEAVE. (a) Transfer Authorized.— Notwithstanding any provision of chapter 63 of title 5, United States Code, and with the approval of the director of the Greensboro district of the Internal Revenue Service in Greensboro, in the State of North Carolina, an employee of the Internal Revenue Service whose official station is the Greensboro district may transfer accumulated annual leave accrued under section 6303 of title 5, United States Code, to the account of Brenda W. Gay, an employee of the Internal Revenue Service in the Greensboro district. (b) Effect of Transfer.— For purposes of chapter 63 of title 5, United States Code, annual leave transferred under subsection (a) shall be treated as sick leave accrued by Brenda W. Gay. 102 STAT. 4846 (c) Reduction of Leave Account.— The transfer of annual leave under subsection (a) by an employee shall reduce the account of the employee by the amount of leave transferred.
