Termination of security facility approval.

(a) Security facility approval will be terminated when: (1) There is no longer a need to use, process, store, reproduce, transmit, or handle Restricted Data at the facility; or (2) The DOE makes a determination that continued security facility approval is not in the interest of common defense and security. (b) The permittee will be notified in writing of a determination to terminate facility approval, and the procedures outlined in § 1016.27 will apply. [82 FR 41506, Sept. 1, 2017]
