Assembly and inspection of regulated articles.

(a) Any person (other than a person authorized to issue limited permits under § 301.555(c)) who desires a certificate or limited permit to move a regulated article interstate must request an inspector 1 to examine the articles as far in advance of the desired interstate movement as possible, but no less than 48 hours before the desired interstate movement. 1 See footnote 1 in § 301.55-5.
