Lender Applicant approval and participation.

(a) Approval types. The Section 184 Program has two types of Lender Applicant approvals: (1) Lender Applicants deemed approved by statute, as described in § 1005.203; or (2) Lender Applicants required to obtain secretarial approval under § 1005.205. (b) Lender Applicant participation. In accordance with § 1005.207, Lender Applicants must select a level of program participation and submit a completed application package, as prescribed by Section 184 Program Guidance, to participate in the Section 184 Program.
