File No. 3-13927 In the Matter of GORDON BRENT PIERCE ORDER GRANTING MOTION FOR STAY Gordon Brent Pierce seeks a stay of the disgorgement sanction imposed in our March 7, 2014 order pending the outcome of a petition for review he has filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Under the particular circumstances of this case and in our discretion, we have determined to grant Pierce's motion. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Commission's order of March 7, 2014 requiring Pierce to disgorge $5,264,466.64, plus prejudgment interest, jointly and severally with Newport Capital Corporation, and $1,983,169.11, plus prejudgment interest, jointly and severally with Jenirob Company Ltd, is hereby stayed pending the determination of Pierce's petition for review by the D.C.
