disposition of surplus or obsolete personal propertySec. 1101. (a) In General.—Title III of the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 (2 U.S.C. 1381 et seq.) is amended by inserting after section 305 the following:“SEC. 306. DISPOSITION OF SURPLUS OR OBSOLETE PERSONAL PROPERTY. “The Executive Director may, within the limits of available appropriations, dispose of surplus or obsolete personal property by interagency transfer, donation, or discarding.” .(b) Technical and Conforming Amendment.—The table of contents for the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 (2 U.S.C. 1301 et seq.) is amended by inserting after section 305 the following: “Sec. 306. Disposition of surplus or obsolete personal property.”. (c) Effective Date.—The amendments made by this section shall apply with respect to fiscal year 2010, and each fiscal year thereafter.123 STAT. 2032
