INDEPENDENT AGENCIES Commodity Futures Trading Commission For necessary expenses to carry out the provisions of the Commodity Exchange Act (7 U.S.C. 1 et seq.), including the purchase and hire of passenger motor vehicles, and the rental of space (to include multiple year leases) in the District of Columbia and elsewhere, $168,800,000, including not to exceed $3,000 for official reception and representation expenses, and not to exceed $25,000 for the expenses for consultations and meetings hosted by the Commission with foreign governmental and other regulatory officials: Provided, That $8,200,000 of the total amount appropriated under this heading shall not be available for obligation until the Commodity Futures Trading Commission submits an expenditure plan for fiscal year 2010 to the Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Farm Credit Administration limitation on administrative expenses Not to exceed $54,500,000 (from assessments collected from farm credit institutions, including the Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation) shall be obligated during the current fiscal year for administrative expenses as authorized under 12 U.S.C. 2249: Provided, That this limitation shall not apply to expenses associated with receiverships.
