SEC. 143. MODIFICATION OF NATURE OF DATA LINK FOR USE BY TACTICAL UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES. Section 141(a)(1) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2006 (Public Law 109–163; 119 Stat. 3164) is amended by striking “, until such time as the Tactical Common Data Link standard is replaced by an updated standard for use by those vehicles” and inserting “or a data link that uses waveform capable of transmitting and receiving Internet Protocol communications”.
