REPORT ON PRESENCE IN THE ARMED FORCES OF MEMBERS ASSOCIATED OR AFFILIATED WITH GROUPS ENGAGED IN PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES.

SEC. 516. REPORT ON PRESENCE IN THE ARMED FORCES OF MEMBERS ASSOCIATED OR AFFILIATED WITH GROUPS ENGAGED IN PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall, in consultation with the Attorney General, submit to the Committees on Armed Service of the Senate and the House of Representatives a report on the following:(1) Any active participation by members of the Armed Forces in prohibited activities (as defined by subsection 3.5.8 of Department of Defense Directive 1325.6).(2) The policies of the Department of Defense to prevent individuals who are active participants in such activities from enlisting in the Armed Forces.
