SEC. 568. COMPTROLLER GENERAL REPORT ON PROGRESS MADE IN IMPLEMENTING RECOMMENDATIONS TO REDUCE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN MILITARY FAMILIES.(a) Assessment.—The Comptroller General shall review and assess the progress made by the Department of Defense in implementing the recommendations contained in the report by the Comptroller General entitled “Military Personnel: Progress Made in Implementing Recommendations to reduce Domestic Violence, but Further Management Action Needed” (GAO–06–540).(b) Report.—Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report containing the results of the review and assessment under subsection (a).
