SEC. 585. REPEAL OF PROVISIONS RELATING TO USE OF SINGLE APPLICATION FOR ALL SUBSEQUENT ELECTIONS.(a) In General.—Subsections (a) through (d) of section 104 of the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (42 U.S.C. 1973ff–3) are repealed.(b) Conforming Amendments.—The Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (42 U.S.C. 1973ff et seq.) is amended—(1) in section 101(b)—(A) in paragraph (2), by striking “, for use by States in accordance with section 104”; and(B) in paragraph (4), by striking “for use by States in accordance with section 104”; and(2) in section 104, as amended by subsection (a)—(A) in the section heading, by striking “use of single application for all subsequent elections” and inserting “prohibition of refusal of applications on grounds of early submission”; and(B) in subsection (e), by striking “(e) Prohibition of Refusal of Applications on Grounds of Early Submission.—”.
