SEC. 1078. PLAN FOR SUSTAINMENT OF LAND-BASED SOLID ROCKET MOTOR INDUSTRIAL BASE.(a) In General.—The Secretary of Defense shall review and establish a plan to sustain the solid rocket motor industrial base, including the ability to maintain and sustain currently deployed strategic and missile defense systems and to maintain an intellectual and engineering capacity to support next generation rocket motors, as needed.(b) Submission of Plan.—Not later than June 1, 2010, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the congressional defense committees the plan required under subsection (a).
