DEFINITIONS

SEC. 346. DEFINITIONSFor purposes of this part: (1) The terms “Armed Forces Retirement Home” and “retirement home” mean the United States Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Home or the Naval Home. (2) The term “administering authority” means— (A) the board of commissioners for the United States Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Home, in the case of that home; and (B) the Governor of the Naval Home, in the case of that home. (3) The term “Armed Forces” does not include the Coast Guard when it is not operating as a service in the Navy.
