SEC. 32502. OUT OF SERVICE PENALTY FOR DENIAL OF ACCESS TO RECORDS. Section 521(b)(2)(E) is amended—(1) by inserting after “$10,000.” the following: “In the case of a motor carrier, the Secretary may also place the violator’s motor carrier operations out of service.”; and(2) by striking “such penalty” after “It shall be a defense to” and inserting “a penalty”.
