REPORT ON STATUS OF TARGETS IN IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR OPERATIONAL ENERGY STRATEGY.
SEC. 314. REPORT ON STATUS OF TARGETS IN IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR OPERATIONAL ENERGY STRATEGY.(a) Report Required.—If the annual report for fiscal year 2011 required by section 2925(b) of title 10, United States Code, is not submitted to the congressional defense committees by December 31, 2012, the Secretary of Defense shall submit, not later than June 30, 2013, to the congressional defense committees a report on the status of the targets established in the implementation plan for the operational energy strategy established pursuant to section 139b of such title, as contained in the document entitled “Operational Energy Strategy: Implementation Plan, Department of Defense, March 2012”.(b) Elements of Report.—The report required by subsection (a) shall describe, at a minimum, the following:(1) The status of each of the targets listed in the implementation plan.(2) The steps being taken to meet the targets.(3) The expected date of completion for each target, if the date is different from the date indicated in the implementation plan.(4) The reason for any delays in meeting the targets.
