SENSE OF CONGRESS ON NATIONAL NARCOTICS BORDER INTERDICTION SYSTEM
SEC. 1214. SENSE OF CONGRESS ON NATIONAL NARCOTICS BORDER INTERDICTION SYSTEM (a) Findings.—Congress finds the following: (1) The Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988 (Public Law 100–690) terminated the National Narcotics Border Interdiction System (NNBIS). (2) The National Narcotics Border Interdiction System provided valuable information and support to State and local law enforcement agencies involved in drug interdiction activities. (b) Sense of Congress.—In light of the findings specified in subsection (a), it is the sense of Congress that the cooperation that existed between State and local law enforcement officials and the Federal agencies participating in the National Narcotics Border 103 STAT. 1569Interdiction System should, to the extent possible, be continued and enhanced by the President.
