SEC. 2103. IMPROVEMENTS TO MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING UNITS (a) In General.—Subject to section 2825 of title 10, United States Code, the Secretary of the Army may, using amounts appropriated pursuant to section 2I04(a)(6)(A), improve existing military family housing in an amount not to exceed $36,329,000. (b) Waiver of Maximum Per Unit Cost for Certain Improvement Projects.—Notwithstanding the maximum amount per unit for an improvement project under section 2825(b) of title 10, United States Code, the Secretary of the Army may— (1) carry out projects to improve existing military family housing unite, in the number of units shown and in the amount shown, at— (A) Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, one unit, $95,900, of which $86,900 is for concurrent repairs; and (B) Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, one hundred and twenty-four unite, $6,500,000; and (2) carry out projects to improve four units at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, the improvement of which was authorized by the Military Construction Authorization Act, 1989 (division B of Public Law 100–456; 102 Stat. 2087), in the amount of $178,088.
