DEFINITIONS.

SEC. 302. DEFINITIONS. Section 2 of the Wagner-Peyser Act (29 U.S.C. 49a) is amended—(1) by striking paragraph (1) and inserting the following:“(1) the terms ‘chief elected official’, ‘institution of higher education’, ‘one-stop center’, ‘one-stop partner’, ‘training services’, ‘workforce development activity’, and ‘workplace learning advisor’, have the meaning given the terms in section 3 of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act;”;(2) in paragraph (2)—(A) by striking “investment board” each place it appears and inserting “development board”; and128 STAT. 1625(B) by striking “section 117 of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998” and inserting “section 107 of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act”;(3) in paragraph (3)—(A) by striking “134(c)” and inserting “121(e)”; and(B) by striking “Workforce Investment Act of 1998” and inserting “Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act”; and(4) in paragraph (4), by striking “and” at the end;(5) in paragraph (5), by striking the period and inserting “; and”; and(6) by adding at the end the following:“(6) the term ‘employment service office’ means a local office of a State agency; and“(7) except in section 15, the term ‘State agency’, used without further description, means an agency designated or authorized under section 4.”.
