SEC. 125. AIRBORNE ELECTRONIC ATTACK CAPABILITIES.(a) In General.—The Secretary of the Navy shall ensure that the Navy retains the option of procuring more EA–18G aircraft in the event that the Secretary determines that further analysis of airborne electronic attack force structure indicates that the Navy should make such a procurement.(b) Briefing.—Not later than March 2, 2015, the Secretary shall provide to the congressional defense committees a briefing on—(1) the options available to the Navy for ensuring that the Navy will not be precluded from procuring more EA–18G aircraft based on a determination made under subsection (a); and(2) an update on the progress of the Navy in conducting an analysis of emerging requirements for airborne electronic attack.
