Sec. 401. Funds made available by Public Law 109–88 for carrying out activities authorized under section 417 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5184) may be used until expended to provide assistance under section 417 of that Act to local governments in areas eligible to receive such assistance pursuant to a major disaster declaration by the President for Hurricane Sandy.127 STAT. 10
