SEC. 402. REVISIONS IN PERMANENT ACTIVE DUTY END STRENGTH MINIMUM LEVELS AND IN ANNUAL LIMITATION ON CERTAIN END STRENGTH REDUCTIONS.(a) Permanent Active Duty End Strength Minimum Levels.—Section 691(b) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking paragraphs (1) through (4) and inserting the following new paragraphs:“(1) For the Army, 510,000.“(2) For the Navy, 323,600.“(3) For the Marine Corps, 188,000.“(4) For the Air Force, 327,600.”.(b) Annual Maximum Authorized Reduction in End Strengths.—(1) Army end strengths.—Subsection (a) of section 403 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013 (Public Law 112–239; 126 Stat. 1708) is amended by striking “15,000 members” and inserting “25,000 members”.(2) Marine corps end strengths.—Subsection (b) of such section is amended by striking “5,000 members” and inserting “7,500 members”.
