SEC. 111. AUTHORIZATION OF CERTAIN OPERATIONAL ACTIVITIES. Section 2 of the State Department Basic Authorities Act (22 U.S.C. 2669) is amended— (1) in subsection (g), by striking out “and” at the end thereof; (2) in subsection (h), by striking out the period at the end thereof and inserting in lieu thereof a semicolon; and (3) by inserting after subsection (h) the following new subsections: “(i) pay obligations assumed in Germany on or after June 5, 1945; “(j) provide telecommunications services; and “(k) provide maximum physical security in Government-owned and leased properties and vehicles abroad.”.
