Public Education System (including rescission) For an additional amount for “Public education system”, $3,461,000, including $2,682,000 for the D.C. Public Schools and $779,000 for the Public Library: Provided, That of the funds appropriated under this heading for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1990, in the District of Columbia Appropriations Act, 1990, approved November 21, 1989 (Public Law 101–168; 103 Stat. 1271), $7,882,000 for the D.C. Public Schools, $730,000 for the University of the District of Columbia, $779,000 for the Public Library, $643,000 for the Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and $10,000 for the Education Licensure Commission are rescinded for a net decrease of $6,583,000.
