Sec. 765. Pursuant to section 185 of Public Law 114–223 (as added by Public Law 114–254 (130 Stat. 1018)), the Secretary of Agriculture may provide financial and technical assistance to remove and dispose of debris and sediment that could adversely affect health and safety on non-Federal land in a flood-affected county or parish: Provided, That such assistance may be used to restore pre-disaster hydraulic capacity of the watershed: Provided 132 STAT. 397 further, That such assistance may not be used to correct an operation and maintenance issue that existed prior to the disaster.
