OTHER COMMISSIONS Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad salaries and expenses For necessary expenses for the Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad, $675,000, as authorized by chapter 3123 of title 54, United States Code: Provided, That the Commission may procure temporary, intermittent, and other services notwithstanding paragraph (3) of section 312304(b) of such chapter: Provided further, That such authority shall terminate on October 1, 2018: Provided further, That the Commission shall notify the Committees on Appropriations prior to exercising such authority. United States Commission on International Religious Freedom salaries and expenses For necessary expenses for the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), as authorized by title II of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 (22 U.S.C. 6431 et seq.), $4,500,000, to remain available until September 30, 2019, including not more than $4,000 for representation expenses: Provided, That prior to the obligation of $1,000,000 of the funds appropriated under this heading, the Commission shall consult with the appropriate congressional committees on the steps taken to implement the recommendations of the Independent Review of USCIRF Mission Effectiveness that was conducted pursuant to the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom Reauthorization Act of 2015 (Public Law 114–71), and such funds shall be subject to the regular notification procedures of the Committees on Appropriations. Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe salaries and expenses For necessary expenses of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, as authorized by Public Law 94–304 (22 U.S.C. 3001 et seq.), $2,579,000, including not more than $4,000 for representation expenses, to remain available until September 30, 2019. Congressional-Executive Commission on the People’s Republic of China salaries and expenses For necessary expenses of the Congressional-Executive Commission on the People’s Republic of China, as authorized by title III of the U.S.-China Relations Act of 2000 (22 U.S.C. 6911 et seq.), $2,000,000, including not more than $3,000 for representation expenses, to remain available until September 30, 2019.132 STAT. 843 United States-China Economic and Security Review Commission salaries and expenses For necessary expenses of the United States-China Economic and Security Review Commission, as authorized by section 1238 of the Floyd D. Spence National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2001 (22 U.S.C. 7002), $3,500,000, including not more than $4,000 for representation expenses, to remain available until September 30, 2019: Provided, That the authorities, requirements, limitations, and conditions contained in the second through sixth provisos under this heading in the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2010 (division F of Public Law 111–117) shall continue in effect during fiscal year 2018 and shall apply to funds appropriated under this heading as if included in this Act.
