SEC. 133. REPORT ON DEGAUSSING STANDARDS FOR DDG–51 DESTROYERS.(a) Report Required.—Not later than February 1, 2019, the Secretary of the Navy shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report on degaussing standards for the DDG–51 destroyer.(b) Elements.—The report required under subsection (a) shall include—(1) a detailed description of the current degaussing standards for the DDG–51 destroyer;(2) a plan for incorporating such standards into the destroyer construction program; and(3) an assessment of the requirement to backfit such standards to in-service destroyers.
