EXCLUSION OF UNDERPAYMENTS FROM RESOURCES.

SEC. 9114. EXCLUSION OF UNDERPAYMENTS FROM RESOURCES. (a) In General.— Section 1613(a)(7) of the Social Security Act is amended by inserting after "shall be limited to the first 6 months following the month in which such amount is received" the following: “(or to the first 9 months following such month with respect to any amount so received during the period beginning October 1, 1987, and ending September 30, 1989)”. (b) Effective Date.— The amendment made by subsection (a) shall become effective January 1, 1988.
