Sec. 237. (a) Section 302 of the Lead-Based Paint Poisoning Prevention Act (42 U.S.C. 4822) is amended in subsection (e)—(1) in paragraph (1)—131 STAT. 789(i) by striking “handicapped” and inserting “persons with disabilities, or any 0-bedroom dwelling”;(ii) by inserting “or” after “expected to reside;”; and(iii) by striking “less than 7 years of age” and inserting “under age 6”;(2) in paragraph (2) by striking “; or” and inserting “.”; and(3) by striking paragraph (3).(b) Section 1004 of the Residential Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction Act of 1992 (42 U.S.C. 4851b) is amended in paragraph (27)—(1) by inserting “or any 0-bedroom dwelling” after “disabilities,”; and(2) by deleting “housing for the elderly or persons with disabilities) or any 0 bedroom dwelling” and inserting “housing)”.(c) Section 401 of the Toxic Substances Control Act (15 U.S.C. 2681) is amended in paragraph (17)—(1) by inserting “or any 0-bedroom dwelling” after “disabilities,”; and(2) by deleting “housing for the elderly or persons with disabilities) or any 0 bedroom dwelling” and inserting “housing)”.
