SEC. 882. PROCUREMENT OF AVIATION CRITICAL SAFETY ITEMS. Section 814(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 (Public Law 114–328; 130 Stat. 2271; 10 U.S.C. 2302 note) is amended—(1) in paragraph (1)—(A) by inserting “or an aviation critical safety item (as defined in section 2319(g) of this title)” after “personal protective equipment”; and(B) by inserting “equipment or” after “failure of the”; and(2) in paragraph (2), by inserting “or item” after “equipment”.
