SEC. 502. DEFINITIONS. Section 604 of the Child Development Associate Scholarship Assistance Act of 1985 (42 U.S.C. 10903) is amended— (1) in paragraph (1) by striking “poverty line, as defined in section 673(2) of the Community Services Block Grant Act (42 U.S.C. 9902(2))” and inserting “130 percent of the lower living standard income level”, (2) by redesignating paragraphs (2) and (3) as paragraphs (3) and (4), respectively, and (3) by inserting after paragraph (1) the following: “(2) the term ‘lower living standard income level’ means that income level (adjusted for regional, metropolitan, urban, and rural differences and family size) determined annually by the Secretary of Labor and based on the most recent lower living family budget issued by the Secretary of Labor;”.
