NEGOTIATION OF NEW INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS.

SEC. 205. NEGOTIATION OF NEW INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS. Not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State shall submit to Congress a report—(1) assessing the potential for negotiating new international agreements or creating a new international forum to reduce land-based sources of marine debris and derelict fishing gear, consistent with section 203;(2) describing the provisions that could be included in such agreements; and(3) assessing potential parties to such agreements.
