SEC. 9115. AU)(ILIARY FLIGHT SERVICE STATION PROGRAM. (a) General Rule.—The Secretary of Transportation shall develop and implement a system of manned auxiliary flight service stations. The auxiliary flight service stations shall supplement the services of the planned consolidation to 61 automated flight service stations under the flight service station modernization program. Auxiliary flight service stations shall be located in areas of unique weather or operational conditions which are critical to the safety of flight. (b) Report to Congress.—Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Transportation shall report to Congress with the plan and schedule for implementation of this section.
