Sec. 236. There are hereby rescinded, from funds appropriated under the heading “Department of Housing and Urban Development—Housing Programs—Rental Housing Assistance”—(1) all unobligated balances from recaptured amounts appropriated prior to fiscal year 2006 from terminated contracts under section 236(f)(2) of the National Housing Act (12 U.S.C. 1715z–1(f)(2)), and any unobligated balances, including recaptures and carryover, remaining from funds appropriated under such heading after fiscal year 2005; and(2) any funds remaining from amounts appropriated under such heading in the prior fiscal year.134 STAT. 1902
